Orion Interview - Expert Advice on Crisis Communications

Crisis communications is a combination of an art and a science. Some of it is common sense and doing it well takes empathy and practice.

We interviewed crisis communications expert, Richard Auletta, President of R.C. Auletta and Company to learn how executives should be communicating with all levels of employees.

His advice rings true now, as employees are now being asked to return to the workplace while the COVID-19 pandemic is still a national headlines, and also for any future crisis, like flooding from a hurricane! (Which is happening as I post this!)

On key takeaway from our interview is the best communication is simply the truth. When executives speak from the heart, and show their humanity, they have a much greater opportunity to connect with their employees.
